Ferment & Feast: Talk, Demo & Supper

Join me for an evening learning about the history fermentation, alongside the health benefits associated with eating fermented foods. I'll demo fermentation techniques and talk you through the process of making your own jarred goodies. You will then get to flavour your own water kefir using a variety of fruits, herbs and spices and finish the evening with a light supper including fermented food and drinks around The Forge's beautiful long table.

Learn to create thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, gut loving food which will help to nurture a healthy body and mind with Fermented by LAB / Fodder + Plonk's Alana Holloway.  In a hands-on demonstration, Alana will show you how to make Lemon + Thyme Kvass and Rhubarb + Ginger Kefir and explore the science of fermenting to bring a little fizz to your larder.
