Turmeric Shake

I've had a little wake up call with some patches of eczema creeping back and realised that I am more stressed than I was giving myself credit for.  As well as taking more time to relax, practice yoga and get out and about in nature, I will be upping my intake of anti-inflammatory foods.  Starting with this delish turmeric shake.

Choose the coconut water and added hemp/chia seeds for a great workout shake.

Ingredients
Serves 2

1 banana
1tsp turmeric powder
1tsp maca powder
1/2tsp vanilla powder
1/4tsp ground cinnamon
100ml full fat coconut milk
300ml almond or rice milk or coconut water

Optional extras
- 1tbsp hemp or chia seeds, either sprinkled on top or blended in.

Method

- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend.  Alternatively, blend with a stick blender in a jug.
