Christmas recipe #1. I didn't realise how good these would taste - If there is any chance of you entertaining this Christmas, then these are a must-make.
2tsp maple syrup
3/4tsp Himalayan salt
3-4 sprigs thyme, leaves picked
- The night before, cover the almonds in water and soak overnight.
- The next day, rinse the almonds and pat dry. Preheat oven to 160C. Place the almonds in a lined roasting tray and sprinkle with the thyme, salt and drizzle with the maple syrup. Toss to coat and roast in the oven for 1 hour. Remove and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container.
